Brief Biography
I am an Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering, South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China. I received my B.Eng from Hohai University and Ph.D. from the South China University of Technology, in 2002 and 2008, respectivelyFrom March 2016 to March 2017, I was in University of California, San Diego, as a visiting scholar. My current research interests include machine learning algorithms, data mining methodologies, neural networks theories, and their applications. I am the University's Talent Cultivated by "Thousand-Hundred-Ten" Program of Guangdong Province. I am a Member of ACM, IEEE, CAAI, and a Senior Member of CCF. Currently, I serve as a reviewer of IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, Information Sciences, Connection Science, etc.

Research Interests

Machine Learning Algorithms, Data Mining Methodologies, Neural Networks Theories, and their applications.
